“We adopted Coco & Pablo in August of 2022, both rescue puppies with their own health concerns. 

Pablo had suffered from Parvovirus, but he was recovering nicely. Our main concern was Coco. Coco was born with Persistent Right Aorta (PRA), a heart deformity that obstructed her throat from swallowing food. She was given a 50/50 chance of survival. She had surgery to help the obstruction but was still on a liquid diet - blending up wet food with water -  and required assistance during and after her meals to ensure she would actually be able to ingest her food. She struggled to put on any weight and was very, very underweight.

I got in contact with Katherine from Emmarentia Raw and told her our story, and she immediately suggested we try a raw diet.

Unlike with other foods, the soft nature of the raw food meant that Coco could eat it easily and was able to swallow it! She had to be held up for a few months after making the switch to ensure digestion but today a year later she eats on her own without any concerns or assistance! 

The biggest change has been how much weight she’s been able to put on now that she’s on such a nutrient-rich food. She’s looking like a normal happy puppy and we couldn’t be happier.

Pablo is also on the raw and absolutely loves it! They’re both getting bigger and healthier every day."

“Harvey, our Australian Shepherd has been on Emmarentia Raw for 8 months now.

We got him on this diet when he was about 10 months old. Prior to Emmarentia Raw we had terrible experience with feeding him in general.

From Gastro, to being uninterested in his kibble, to poor Harvey getting weird allergic reactions to his food & other raw brands, we believe that Harvey's diet had put a lot of pressure on us in the beginning, considering we had never owned a dog before.

To be frank, we were very overwhelmed with it all.

Even training Harvey was always a challenge purely because he was never food motivated. This in turn built up a fair amount of anxiety in regards to Harvey’s health.

Katherine suggested we try him on a week’s supply of the Beef Raw Meal. My wife and I were VERY sceptical just because of our prior experience & not to mention my wife is a vegetarian who gets very nauseous with the smell of raw food. We were so happy to report that the meal had no smell! So we were already off to a good start.

At first Harvey was uninterested in the meal which was usual for him, but after a few small bites, he went berserk and scoffed it all down, so the taste box was definitely ticked.

The BIG problem for us was the Gastro and allergies, and since having Harvey on Emmarentia Raw for the past 8 months we haven’t had a single incident with Either.
